$67,000 Robot Uses UV Light
To Zap Bugs: Scientists Apply Technology To Handheld Device

Hospital trials roving 'Star Wars' robot using UV light to kill bacteria and virus; Emits UV light to penetrate the cell walls of bacteria and viruses to destroy their DNA. The $67,000 robot is being used in dozens of hospitals across the globe along with the $400 hand held version which in limited supply is selling 75% off.

It looks uncannily like the R2-D2 robot from the Star Wars films, but in fact this roving robot is already hard at work in  hospitals zapping superbugs, bacteria and viruses.

The robots emit ultraviolet light to penetrate and damage bacteria, including superbugs, HIV Virus, Ebola and the now rampant Zika virus.

The $67,000 machine's UV light penetrates bacteria cell walls destroying their DNA, rendering them unable to reproduce.

Scientists have applied that same Robot UV technology in a compact portable device with the power of a $67,000 machine, but at a reasonable price.

It’s powerful enough to kill deadly viruses and super bacteria along with unwanted fungi and mold in mere seconds.  Hospitals are now making these hand held devices mandatory to sanitize general surface areas from door knobs to washrooms, toilet seats and even incoming visitors shoes.

The device is now available for public purchase through online sales only in very limited quantities given the high tech nature. The UVSafe360 is quickly becoming the go-to device to protect your family from any kinds of viral or bacterial assaults.

The UVSAFE360 emits UV light to penetrate the cell walls of bacteria and viruses to destroy their DNA, rendering them unable to reproduce and essentially DEAD.
The process takes only seconds to eliminate all hazardous microbes on any given surface.

'UVSafe360, coupled with standard measures, are an important tool in ensuring patient safety in a hospital setting. We are grateful to UVSafe360 for making a handheld UV light device,' said Tarri Smith, former hospital CEO.

HOW UVSAFE360 WORKS

UVSafe360 is in a convenient clam shell flip device much like a smart phone.

UVSafe360 emits ultraviolet (UV) light that penetrates and damages bacteria, including all commonly known 'superbugs' which are highly resistant to traditional antibiotic treatments.

High-energy ultraviolet light in the spectrum known as UV-C is produced in the high-tech bulb contained within the UVSafe360.

This UV-C energy passes through the cell walls of bacteria, viruses and bacterial spores. Once the UV-C energy is inside the micro-organism, it is absorbed by the DNA, RNA and proteins.

One of the primary mechanisms of damage created by UV-C is the fusing of the strands of DNA creating what is known as 'thymine dimers.'

Once the DNA is fused, the organism can no longer replicate and is, therefore, no longer infectious. The technical term for this is 'deactivation.  UVSafe360 effectively kills bugs DEAD.
